That’s not very nice, Anwar Ibrahim…

My heart is broken.

2 lovely female calon asking for my vote. Shahrizat the veteran lawmaker and Nurul Izzah the freshie idealist.

One would be forgiven for thinking that it be a woman vs woman political contest. No problem.

Until on nomination day… I saw Anwar Ibrahim outside the Bangsar Sports Complex. And then I heard Malaysiakini, radio, internet and newspapers telling me that my beloved Lembah Pantai is now the hottest seat this GE.

No…! No more plain woman vs woman fair contest. It’s now man against woman.

This is not fair, Anwar. It’s not fair to Nurul Izzah to put her through this. It’s also not fair to put Lembah Pantai voters in a spot, to take them away from well loved Shahrizat.

I’m not happy with this development. Not at all.

  1. as far as i know, anwar didn’t want nurul izzah to contest at all. the choice was izzah’s.

  4. was sacking Anwar, punching him with his hands tied and eyes blinded fair ?

Was giving him an unfair trial fair ?

Nothing is fair in Malaysia these days, so why not ?

Why didnt Shahrizat speak up when Mahathir was unfair to Anwar ?

  6. Polytikus,

What you said is different from what I see as a Lembah Pantai voter. How come everything in Nurul Izzah’s campaign is about Anwar? To me, it is Anwar challenging Shahrizat. I worry I will not see Anwar doing much for Lembah Pantai as he has demonstrated he’s always not at home. Nurul Izzah’s interview in The Sun worries me more! She admitted she rather be taking care of her baby and she was carried by the wind to be a calon. If you were me, wouldn’t you worry?

    Wisdom above,

You can elect an untested calon for MP in your voting constituency. Not me, I take the business of voting very seriously.

    Malayamuda and r,

Please go back to school and scold your karangan teacher for neglecting to teach you how to stick to the topic of discussion.

Electing an MP is very serious matter for me as I vote in Lembah Pantai. It’s not a play play thing. I hate to have an MP who might fail me. It will be no fun to regret later.

Your ‘argument’ is not doing Nurul Izzah any good. Are you saying that she is a puppet for Anwar Ibrahim? How did you know Shahrizat did not speak up?

  7. “…How did you know Shahrizat did not speak up? ….”

Well, that’s a simple question to answer. If she did speak up, she would have been kick out from UMNO in no time!

Who’s the puppet? you tell me…
