Goodbye, Malaysia mainstream media and newspapers

Dear Bernama and Mainstream Media (especially The Star),

I already ‘tahan’ your imbecile reporting on Perak, Kedah and Selangor. I cannot tahan anymore!!!

Your reporting on the Trengganu issue of Menteri Besar appointment is a demonstration of gross imbecility in action.

You have abandoned whatever little principles of journalism 101 taught you. You have not done homework to refer to the sources of law eg. the state laws. You have not spent energy to verify facts with more than 1 tired constitution expert. You blindly entitle your articles as “Constitutional Crisis”, when it is only a political impasse. You misled your readers.

Continue with your paparazzi style reporting and the rakyat will gladly cheer you on your spiraling descent into oblivion.

  1. Dear Banana Chinese

I already cannot “Tahan” The Star, the people’s paper, oh, sorry I meant “the BN’s paper”. I’ve since shunned it, as a matter of principle. Those guys should all go back to journalism school.

Well, I think they are in fact shooting themselves on their feet. It has been proven very very clearly that their effort to glorify [you know who] and vilify [ you know who] does not work on more than 50% of the population.

I look forward to see shrinking advertising revenue and employee retrenchment. It would be better if Wong Chun Wai lost his job.

That’s my wildest fantasy! 🙂 Have a nice day.

    KL, Malaysia.

  2. Dear Aaron,

Let us count the days when fantasy becomes reality.

Will we ever see return of the original The Star of those days before Operasi Lallang? I wonder…

  3. All points mentioned are SO TRUE, to the point and any malaysian who’s even been mildly aware of the situation can attest to that… but Good Lord!! Why wish something so spiteful as Employee retrenchment?? The actual culprits of the said points will most likely be “protected” and the “innocent” sacrificed on their altar of indecent journalism… by the time the frontline are sacrificed and the fire reaches them… it really wouldnt matter anymore anyway…

The family of the employees do not deserve to suffer for the lack of professionalism of a few “head honchos”… who will just see them as collateral damage

I definitely do not want someone to wish me ill especially when it could affect the people at home…

  4. Kenz dear,

You are a good person. You think for the innocent bystander too.

    Salute you.
