MCA party election 2013

The going was terrible tough for BN’s hapless candidates from MCA in the recent GE13. And now MCA has to suffer the indignity of having a wet nurse to take care of its transport ministerial post while a ‘new’ coterie of MCA leadership gets itself sorted out in their party election.

For now, it is very interesting to discover that some MCA candidates especially in the Selangor kill zone can still increase their fan base by more than 2,000 votes (all together now…. OOOOOH)

Rawang added 2,842 new fans
Kajang added 2,795 new fans
Balakong added 3,044 new fans
Subang Jaya added 2,689 new fans

I gotta feeling that MCA’s party election’s gonna be fun, fun, fun…

Filed under: Citizenry, Government, Malaysia, Media, Politics, Scandal — Tags: , , , , — bananachinese @ 6:08 pm

Filed under: Announcement, Malaysia, Politics, Scandal — Tags: , , , , , , , , — bananachinese @ 5:32 pm

GE13 Malaysia – Don’t sulk just go independent

Malaysians were entertained with some comic relief from those who were not picked by their BN or Pakatan Rakyat political parties as calon for GE13.

Some Malaysians were turned off by these dropped aspirants who brought their little coterie of friends to protest against their parties’ choice.

“Serdang MCA division is up in arms over what it says is the plan of the BN headquarters to field a candidate for the Serdang parliamentary seat. Chinese dailies have speculated that Liew Yuen Keong’s camp is in conflict with party members loyal to former Serdang MCA division chief Yap Pian Hon.”

Hmmmm…. what happened to the declarations such as “I’m loyal to my XYZ party”, “I am doing servicing because I sincerely care”. You lot just disclosed to the whole world that all this time you all were really not doing whatever community work for the sake of the community’s betterment.

Eh, kurang asam… all these time taking free rides using party machinery to push for their personal advantage.

If these people think they are worthy of being elected, these people should just resign from their respective political party, fork out own money to fund their own candidacy as independents.

Don’t la play the sulking baddie and sabotage your own parties’ operations centres… Boleh?

“The division had threatened to boycott the election campaign if it was resolved that Wangsa Maju Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Mohd Shafei Abdullah were to replace division chief Datuk Yew Teong Look.”

Latest I heard some Subang Jaya friends said that Ong Chong Swen is also going to show her displeasure over being dropped as calon for N31 Subang Jaya. In what way, I wonder. I hope this ex-teacher will not show a bad example to mothers. Shame if this Wanita MCA central committee member behave so.

Selfish and hungry for personal fame, I wonder if their own party members will care to vote for them in coming party elections after the GE.

Ong Tee Keat n Ong Chong Swen

MCA’s Ong Tee Keat and Wanita MCA’s Ong Chong Swen

While we are on this topic, will this MCA man Ong Tee Keat be standing as an independent in Pandan constituency?

Cows and Condos in Malaysia

Filed under: Citizenry, Malaysia, Media, news, Scandal — Tags: , , , , , , — bananachinese @ 8:06 pm

When money is entrusted by government to a national project, it means just that: use strictly for the project.

Promoters and agencies in charge this project via National Feedlot Corporation should be ashamed for the missed projected promises, deadlines and use of money to buy condos, etc instead.

I wonder if the cows at the NFC are happy about this state of affair?

I hear GE13 voters are not.

Porn in public spaces is legal or not in Malaysia?

How can you blame the world for asking?

1. When one can organise an event to watch it?

“Anda jangan bimbang, saya akan memanggil anda selepas jam 2 petang dan memberitahu anda di mana tayangan berikutkan diadakan,” katanya memberi jaminan kepada wartawan yang menunggu di situ, sambil mengumpulkan lagi kad nama daripada mereka yang baru sampai.” read Malaysiakini here

2. When one can issue a public threat to publicly disseminate it?

“Individu yang hanya dikenali sebagai Datuk T dan menganjurkan tayangan video seks kepada media hari ini, menuntut pemimpin utama pembangkang dan isterinya berundur dari politik.” read Malaysiakini here

3. When watching porn is even done in Parliament building?

“Sex tape hits Parliament lounge” read The Malaysian Insider here

I wonder what do the Malaysian law enforcers think of all involved in organising these events?

Incompetency of news outlets: Wikileaks

Filed under: Announcement, Malaysia, Media, news, Politics, Scandal — Tags: , , , , , — bananachinese @ 11:25 pm

Sad isn’t it, when news outlets or media forgot its ‘duty’ as the fourth estate?

Here’s how to stop Wikileaks or its wannabes:

“I think its time for the general public to demand that our news outlets start giving us complete stories, with various points of view.”
Thank you, b0ll0cks for your post!

What if a flash mob goes seriously wrong?

Filed under: Announcement, Citizenry, Life, Scandal — Tags: , , , , , — bananachinese @ 1:24 pm

.
Here’s a fictitious piece by Tom Scott which drew up a worst case scenario that could happen when a flash mob goes wrong and really turns out to be a mob.

Even though it seems a remote scenario, its best to handle those social media with care, people.

Respect la Teng Chang Khim’s tweet…

This time it is kudos to Teng Chang Khim who twitted the truth.

Saw tengchangkhim’s  twit in Malaysiakini:

Less public exams lead to less workbooks, less tuition class, less workbook suppliers, less corruption in schools.”

Ouch, a big, big black eye to those blood sucking members of the Dongs and Jiao of  Zongs and some say, them MCA members too…

Yep, DAP’s Teng Chang Khim has matured nicely as a politician with some grip on reality. Hope his brother’s road to maturity in MCA is also as progressive.

I say take away those miserable exams that disturb our children’s enjoyment of their childhood’s most creative period. Don’t do onto others what you’ve had to endure and hated in school.

The great master Confucius never had to endure UPSR or PMR. Neither did Socrates who creatively spent his life investigating the content of another’s thinking.
