The Kingmakers: Sabah, Sarawak & the 12th General Elections

Sabah and Sarawak the kingmakers??? Perhaps we need to re-think again:

.
A super Deepthroat divulged this:

He went to Dubai alone to meet DSAI. He could not meet DSAI in Malaysia without the others knowing. Went there to cut a deal. In truth what DSAI was saying about the 30 odd MPs who will defect are actually AAB group in UMNO. They know if they lose power all will be lost and that is why AAB since elections have been making popular decisions and showing that is also as progressive as DSAI and when he join PR the public will say he made a right decision. He will continue as PM until the next elections. DSAI will be the power behind the PM. the deal has already been discussed with the PR partners and they have accepted it all. TM , MH ,DSNAR all will be left behind and do not know what hit them. KJ is actually a DSAI sleeper in UMNO.

Was mission was to woo AAB daughter marry her and destroy UMNO from inside. This is DSAI ultimate revenge for all the wrong doing UMNO of TM did to him. Just check and see who sponsored KJ to Oxford. Lately you can see AAB and KJ have been bold.

Just something for all you to chew on and much more I know off. I know a lot because I also walk in the corridors of power that is the power of internet

cheers
xxxxx

if you read below article posted in MT , DSAI is now in Mumbai and out of Malaysia. Flight time from Dubai to Mumbai is only less then 2 hours and they are a lot of flights between these two places , more flights the from KL to Singapore. If you read the article I am posting below you can see DSAI was talking from Mumbai. Any body or even PKR can add any to it.

Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim Says He’ll Be In Power By September
Posted by Super Admin
Saturday, 17 May 2008

MUMBAI, INDIA: Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim said Friday (16 May) he would have enough support to topple Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s government by September.

Anwar told reporters that his People’s Justice Party needed just 30 members to gain a simple majority in parliament. His party controls 82 seats in the legislature.

“By our calculation, we should move before 16 Sept,” he said during his visit to Mumbai, India’s financial and entertainment capital, for a lecture series on “Human Rights Awareness.”

The date is significant as his country celebrates 16 Sept as “Malaysia Day” _ commemorating the establishment of the Malaysian federation in 1963 by joining the provinces of Malaya, Singapore, Sabah and Sarawak.

Although Anwar has made such claims several times in the past, Friday was the first time he has given a specific timeframe to try to pull down the government.

He was ousted from government in 1998 by then-Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad in a power struggle amid accusations of corruption and sodomy. Anwar denied the charges, which he said were trumped up.

The sodomy charge was later overturned, but he served prison time after being convicted of corruption.

The corruption charge prevented him from holding public office until 14 Apr 2008, which meant he could not contest the 8 Mar general elections.

A record 82 opposition members from a three-party alliance led by Anwar were elected to the 222-member lower house in the elections. This shook the ruling National Front’s grip on governance for the first time in 40 years.

Anwar said last month that it won’t be long before he is elected a lawmaker in a by-election.

“We have enough numbers now. But we want the transition to be peaceful and democratic,” he said Friday.

He has said any government he forms will change Malaysia’s system of promoting majority ethnic Malays _ Anwar himself is Malay _ in government contracts, jobs and education over ethnic Chinese and Indian Malaysians.

“Many ruling party members of parliament know that the time for racial politics is over,” said Anwar, adding that he was confident that governing party members would defect to his side. (AP)

A Sabah & Sarawak MP defection was a ploy (Red herring) by DSAI to deflect from the real crossovers taking place. All attention and energy is on the East Malaysian MP’s and the UMNO MP’s in West Malaysia were free to meet up with DSAI’s gang and plan the defections. Poor East Malaysian MP’s , for once they thought they were the King Makers and now all know what they are up to. Just like beggars suddenly striking the jackpot but only a fool’s jackpot .DSAI will not form a federal government with these spineless MP’s.

REMEMBER DSAI and AAB body language when they meet in the opening day of the parliament (The photo on the front page of the newspapers)

More to come as I get more info on the progress report of the UMNO MP’s. Sept date was only a ploy and a red herring. All going to take place in next 2 weeks time. No need to sack the PM because AAB will defeat the non-confidence vote with the help of PR and AAB Group UMNO Mp’s who will defect to PR. There will be a cabinet reshuffle so after. UMNO Ministers who will be retained are as follows because they will be the defectors

Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz
Datuk Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi ( When DSAI was sacked , he was in DSAI’s house everyday )
Datuk Mohd Zaid Ibrahim
Datuk Mohd Zin Mohamad
Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim
Datuk Shahrir Samad
Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek

and surprise

Datuk Azalina Othman

And no non-UMNO Ministers or Sabah UMNO Ministers will be retained but the vocal Sabah and Sarawak MP’s will be made ministers. Cabinet will be expanded to 30 Ministers, 38 Asst ministers and 30 parliamentary secretaries. Total will be 99 and balance MP’s will be given other important posts with good
salary. All will be happy and all will be taken care.

DSAI will not make a tactical move without the consent of DAP and PAS. All now are hunger for power after their appetite has been vetted by DSAI’s announcements that PR are now government in waiting. All politicans are the same and get corrupted with power. Look at Taiwan , South Korea ,Indonesia, Thailand , Philippines , Pakistan ,india , Israel and so on. They profess the perfect govermental principles when in opposition but what happen when they come in power. They only last for a term. Come fast and clean up the state coffers fast aftraid that they will not have another opturnity again. here else the former ruling party only rob the interest not the capital

Anwar to form new government? Please get Malaysians’ blessing…

Dear sir,

I read this in Malaysiakini.

Are you in a rush for the Prime Minister seat now or going to openly campaign for PM in the next General Election?

If now, appreciate please could you ask the PEOPLE of Malaysia for their blessing? It is important, because blessing (permission) can do wonders for a nation to heal any divisions, to move forward confidently and for families to live harmoniously.

An answer from Barisan Rakyat- DAP/ PKR/ PAS would be appreciated too, if Anwar is very busy. My two questions are:

Was GE12 about putting Anwar in the PM seat?

Were the people informed about this objective?

Thank you.

Dear God, it’s about Pak Lah and the Cabinet

Dear God,

As Malaysians await for Pak Lah’s positive action to deliver a better Cabinet for 2008, I would like to take this opportunity to propose some ideas to be weighted in for PM’s decision making. Please could you send someone to tell Pak Lah?

This little voice may not be the richest or loudest, but I am sincerely wishing for Pak Lah to be granted the outmost courage and strength to make the best decision for Malaysia as we await anxiously a clear direction out of the current limbo and uncertainty. Malaysia needs the best people in the Cabinet.

My humble idea to be considered in drawing up names for Malaysia’s new Cabinet (In fact, everyone of my family and friends also fervently wish for PM to surprise us with this gift):

1. DROP currently perceived as ‘dubious’ Ministers / politicians – Dato’ Rafidah Aziz, Dato’ Jamaluddin Jarjis, Dato’ Mohd Nazri Abdul Aziz, Dato’ Nor Md. Yaakcop, Dato’ Seri Azalina Othman Said, Dato’ Noh Omar, Dato’ Paduka Badruldin Amiruldin

2. Appoint ‘clean’ and sincere politicians to ministerial posts. People like Datuk Sharir Abdul Samad (Minister for Environment?), Datuk Zaid Ibrahim, Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir (Youth & Sports)

3. Appoint politicians with proven track record contributing to nation’s economy – Dato’ Chong Kah Kiat (Minister for Tourism)

4. Appoint a woman as Finance Minister or important portfolio (perhaps Dato’ Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil? She’s a woman and a bright mind trained in law, who can be counted upon to conscientiously watch our nation’s purse string and well regarded by all races)

5. DROP ‘dubious’ underperformers – Dato’ Reezal Merican, Datuk Vincent Lim and others who took part in putting up roadblocks in PM’s conversation and direct communication with Malaysians (fyi, they reside below PM Office at 4th floor).

6. Khairy must never be considered for any posts (whether its true or not, he is good or bad, please let him sit outside the cabinet as his name does not generate love).

I know this is no small request but, Malaysia needs PM to be granted great courage to do his best for the nation. I am sure, with Jeanne (a good woman) at Pak Lah’s side, the PM will find the strength to do this.

Amin.

NB: Please also stop the Noise:

These days, mainstream media organizations like Utusan Malaysia and Bernama, whether intentionally or naively, are playing a not too admirable role contributing to political hatred, pitting Malays against non-Malays. In this regard, may I request you to move PM to please telephone BN component party chiefs to instruct all their members to BEHAVE GENTLEMANLY, QUIT INSULTING THE PEOPLE’S DECISION, RESPECT THE RESULTS OF THE GE AND KEEP UP THE GOOD NAME OF BN (or whatever is left of it).

Support from friends and Malaysiakini readers appreciated.

I voted for Shahrizat, so there! Response from Nurul Izzah awaited.

Boys and girls and readers of Malaysiakini,

Some of you are really hypocrites and don’t practice what you preach. You blah blah blah about equality, respect for people BUT you ridiculed and trampled over my choice to exercise my rights to choose the candidate I am best comfortable with.

Whatever happened to ‘I may not agree with what you say but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it?’

Tsk.. tsk..tsk.

Myself will respect the results of the vote for Lembah Pantai and their collective wisdom.

Will be looking forward to get a response from Nurul Izzah on the questions in earlier post.

Any Malaysiakini readers voting in Lembah Pantai?

I wonder if any of these concerns from some voters of Lembah Pantai connect with any of you Malaysiakini readers out there?

Go here.

With great regret, it is NO to Nurul Izzah (Anwar Ibrahim)

I received a very big earful from my mom, pop, uncles and aunties when I ask whether they would consider voting for PKR. Recovery, I fear will be a slow job due to the severity of rebukes received. So much for my little foray into real life survey.

Here’s what they scolded me for:

  1. Nurul Izzah has got no track record connecting the dots between local authorities, NGOs, Resident Associations, etc to work the government system. Where’s the testimony of her achievements of such nature before she declared candidacy?
  2. Nurul Izzah has not guaranteed she will be able to handle and work the system to deliver for Lembah Pantai people.
  3. Nurul Izzah has not convinced them – she need to produce a list of do-able things she can deliver for people of Lembah Pantai if elected.
  4. They are not convinced that Nurul Izzah will not relinquish her seat for Anwar Ibrahim.
  5. If they throw their votes for Nurul Izzah, what will happen if she give seat to Anwar because Anwar has not promised any delivery that he will deliver in Lembah Pantai.
  6. Will Nurul Izzah be able to cope with the streneous job of MP for Lembah Pantai? Will she flip flop (eg: running, not running, running for MP) This is a complex, fast moving and very multi-cultural constituency and the businesses here moves fast.
  7. Does Nurul Izzah have a solid team to back her up? Has she set up one already to kick into action immediately if voted in?

And here are more serious questions from my uncle:

  1. Bangsar is jewel in the crown in Lembah Pantai. Some people however, called it Sin City and want to close it down. What is your stand on this?
  2. What will you do with the nightspots that bring in foreign exchange generated from economic activities catering to overseas expatriates?
  3. What do you say about Negara Islam? Will you support Negara Islam?
  4. What do you say about Islamist radicals & terrorists?
  5. What will you say to people who misuse jihad?
  6. What is your commitment to ensure Lembah Pantai will be safe and free from religious bigots or trouble makers?

NB: Due to the seriousnes of this subject to us people of Lembah Pantai, comments from non voters in Lembah Pantai shall not be entertained.
